Totte and Emma books have been introduced earlier over Europe, England,
USA, and Canada in the English language. Here one can find a huge
market.When mine and the publishing house's agent in England disappeared, this
market went right down, and noone else has succeeded in the same way as
Angus Hudson did, which is why I have taken back the publishing rights
in the English language.I now understand and have noticed that established giant publishing
houses don't have the slightest thought about the international market
for their own account. Nor do they have the contact with readers the
same way I have through the Internet and e-mail, and therefore do not
see the new possibility of themselves printing books in English and via
Internet bookdealers sell these books across borders in all countries
which have English as the mother-tongue or as the second official
language, and which themselves have voted to open their borders for the
multicultural. It is just here where English has it's strong point.In Sweden, one stays traditionally with the large publishing houses, and
one publishes in Swedish and a few emigrant languages, but have not
disovered that even here there is a market for the English language.
One has not yet discovered that the world market can lie in one's own
hands. This is perhaps caused by the the old structure of publishing
house branches the world over.In the same way, the bookselling business has the same traditional
thought pattern, and one doesn't try hard to sell the stock of old
publications. For children's books, this is a catastrophe! To go to a
book-dealer and only order books on the basis of hearsay is not exactly
the most consumer friendly. Internet bookdealers have here the largest
formula for success for those buyers who are searching for children's
books that they themselves have read, to give to their own children.That is what has now happened in England, USA, and Canada - parents
cannot find their own favorites for their children in the English
language. And I as an author with my own website have received many
questions about where one can get a copy of Thomas (Totte) or Betsy
(Emma).Therefore I now turn out towards the world as an author, to the new
thinkers among booksellers and distributors, and wonder if there is
someone among you, wherever in the world you may find yourself, who
would like to invest in Totte and Emma in English internationally?*Under normal royalty rules, especially in the form of reimbursement per
printed editions.
*Through sales on the Internet, both to consumers directly and to
bookhandlers/publishing houses in those parts of the world where the
Internet has not yet made a breakthrough.
*In this way to reintroduce the book series for the benefit of all the
children, parents. and grandparents who now for several years have
asked, and asked again, where it would be possible to get these books in
